The road that lays ahead.Michael Markham is a SAG, AEA actor based out of New York City.  His favorite roles in New York include Platonov in The Spectacular Demise of Platonov at Shapiro Theater; Giant inGiants at HERE; and The Singing Soldier in Mother Courage and Her Children at The New York Shakespeare Festival in Central Park.  Film and television include Law and Order; Home Office (SAG-Foundation), Black Card (HBO), Final Girl (SpookyFest), LiesUnearthedGame Theory

Regionally he has performed in A Little Night MusicHamlet, the title role in Julius Caesar, and The Ibsen Project: A Lonely Light.

A graduate of the Juilliard School Drama Division, with a Bachelor’s of Arts in Acting from Washington University in St. Louis.

Michael grew up in Montpelier, VT but has lived in 7 different states throughout his life.  He currently resides in East Harlem with his wife, 3 children, and their cat, with the biggest backyard in Manhattan – Central Park.

An avid photographer, award winning filmmaker, and supporter of the arts and arts education, Michael has been involved with ASTEP (Artists Striving to End Poverty – www.asteponline.org) since 2008 and Spark and Echo Arts (www.sparkandecho.org) since 2011.  Through ASTEP Michael has taught drama to kids in Bronxville, NY; Homestead, Florida; and South Africa. His photography has been seen at 1359 Broadway in the summer of 2010 and on the side of 410 West 40th St. in October of 2011. Since 2013 he has produced and/or directed over 14 shorts through his company KiteMonkey Productions LLC,
